• Each month, Katha will send out two of its books for your ward to develop a habit of reading. The books will reach by the 15th of the month.
• Each book has been hand-picked with care, and is aligned to interests that children display in this age group, and also to the curriculum schools follow
• By this age, the children will start emoting with the contents – its going to be fun to watch the meanings they derive from the storyline and characters
• Do engage in read-aloud sessions – it will help improve their oratory abilities
• Each book comes with activities that the parent and child could perform together
• Note: every book comes with a theme, and a storyline. But everyday in the month you could recreate your own story, using inspiration from the book
• The key is to make the storytelling sessions fun!
• Preserve the book – it will be a lot of fun to watch the child grow up, re-read the content, and find a new meaning everytime
