When she’s not making books, Alankrita can be found talking to cats, making candles or tending to her garden.

Aruna Shekar is an award-winning teacher and children’s writer who crafts inspiring, relatable stories for young readers. Her books have received several honours, including Katha’s Search for Excellence Award. Asha the Auto-driver won two awards, and her latest, It’s So Hot!, features vivid illustrations by Charbak Dipta.
