Moazzam Sheikh
Moazzam Sheikh was born in Lahore. He moved to the United States in 1985 where he studied film. He now writes fiction in English. His work has appeared in A Dragonfly in the Sun: 50 years of Pakistani Writing in English. He has written one novel, Sahaband; has recently edited A Letter from India: Contemporary Short Stories from Pakistan.
Sa’adat Hasan Manto
Sa'adat Hasan Manto was a Pakistani author and playwright. Primarily a writer in the Urdu language, Manto has 22 collections of short stories, a novel, five series of radio plays, three collections of essays, two collections of personal sketches to his credit. He is most popularly recognized for his writings about the Partition, which he was opposed to.
