P Valsala (1939–2023) was a Malayalam novelist, short story writer and social activist. She received the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award for her novel Nizhalurangunna Vazhikal and also served as the chairperson of the Kerala Sahitya Akademi. She passed away in 2023.
