Her books have received several honours, including Katha’s Search for Excellence Award. Asha the Auto-driver won two awards, and her latest, It’s So Hot!, features vivid illustrations by Charbak Dipta.
Alankrita Amaya
Alankrita Amaya is an award-winning children’s book illustrator and writer who spends her days creating whimsical worlds filled with wonder. Her work is inspired by the magic hidden in everyday life. Some of her acclaimed books include Little Laali, Muft Ki Kulfi and Boodabim. She is also the co-founder of Hallubol, an initiative that preserves local Dakhni culture through bilingual comics. When she’s not making books, Alankrita can be found talking to cats, making candles or tending to her garden.
